Shirley Cunningham
Now I am publishing my forth book on Smashword. This book has been in the making over the years of my ministry. I feel very privileged to be able to update some of the information that I have learned to walk in and grow in as the Lord has allowed me to always be victorious through the many lessons of life. I believe that you will glean many things from the book The Consuming Word along with the first three books. Many questions are asked about Leadership and also on the Holy Spirit. These will help you immensely. Also persons that have lost Hope will be encouraged by reading the FREE book Hope Deferred. I would love to hear from you after reading my books. Now I do not claim to be a great author, as I only claim to write of my heart experiences and the reality of the Lord I serve. Thank You for your attention and God Bess You. Rev, Shirley J Cunningham

ANOINTEDBASIC LEADERSHIP TRAINING
BECOME THE LEADER THAT GOD CALLED YOU TO BE!
Sample Paragraph From Anointed Basic Leadership Training: Members of boards and directors need to fellowship together, pray together, and learn to know each other. You cannot walk in tune with those you do not agree with. Satan would isolate you and convince you that you do not need anyone else, but that is only his method of getting you alone to destroy you. As you learn to walk together, you will begin to understand each other and that should give you compassion for your group

THE CONSUMING WORD
BY REV. SHIRLEY CUNNINGHAM
Chapter One
TIME:TOO MUCH OR TOO LITTLE?
I would like to start by asking each person that reads this message some questions. Could it be that we in the body of Christ have too much time on our hands? It is possible that too much time without quality has allowed us to grow dull and complacent in our walk with Jesus? Could this be a major problem in the body of Christ with Christians that go to church on Sunday and then just go on about the worldly things the rest of the week? Could this be the cause of hurts and gossip in many congregations? Does the major part of the work fall upon a few conscientious Christians and the rest sit back and criticize the way they do the work? I have asked several questions. You need to draw your own conclusions as you read.
Be honest with yourself. See if you are able to locate yourself in your Christian walk. Consuming means strongly and urgently felt: a consuming need to be successful, deeply felt etc.
Turn to the book of James in your King James Bible. You see, James is one book that we need to read over and over. About the time you think you’ve got the knowledge of it working in your life, you may find that you need to read this book again. Now as you read James, don’t miss Chapter 1, Verse 22. This is one of the first verses that you need to memorize when you read it. But be ye doers of the Word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves
. If you are not doing what the Word says, who are you deceiving? Yourself? The Bible says we are doing just that. Let Bible truth consume you. We need to obey the whole Bible, but especially in the book of James where we are taught the things concerning the tongue. Are you deceived? If so, who is deceiving you? You may think it was someone else deceiving you, but more than likely, as the Bible says, it was self-deception. Self-deception from disobeying the Word of God or Self-deception from not doing what you know is right. Self-deception from just wanting your own way and the list could go on. Now is a good time to make your decision as to whether or not you want to live in truth. If you do, read the rest of this book. We are responsible to walk in truth, and do what is right in the sight of God. So, if you hear the Word and you know it’s the Word, Do it! Now don’t just run off spouting the latest teaching you’ve heard. You may hear a lot of things that are not of God. Don’t follow it or speak it as if God has said it. You need to know it agrees with the Word and that it truly is God leading. Self-deception usually gets in a hurry to act, but God is not in a hurry as a rule. Be careful not to find a scripture you like and then take it out of context. It will get you in trouble. As Christians we like to share with others what we have learned, but be sure to let them know we are still learning also. That is
