Reflected thru me in every sense of the word,

from the high cheekbones, the

little boss toes

the way we both covered our natural

blonde hair,

the way we both could only fathom

communication through written words—

So I’ve heard.

But it doesn’t stop there,

she is reflected thru Sissy in her obsession

with ‘Target’ and her gentle heart,

and her fiery temper.

And it should be known that Mama

is her, thru and thru and maybe that

is why we are a reflection of her,

she continues to live on and on

after all of these years.

A gypsy soul, of heart,

love, laughter, and a little bit

of crazy reflected in every sense of the word.
