DEDICATION

I’d say that It be about time that I dedicate this book,

the last collection of what I considered to be my unique

sarcastic poetry to my damn self… but I am not a selfish

person. Satiric whispers will be dedicated to my dear

sister Rosita Rodriquez Mercado. This beautiful soul has

been my rock, my mentor, my best friend, my sunshine

in the day, my moonlight in the dark and my blanket in

the cold. She has always been the one who has believed,

recued and nourished me back to life time after time. Let

me tell you Rosie that you are my angel. You are amazing

and loving. I appreciate all the things you say and have

done for me. Every time I come home to you with my

troubles your bear hugs and your smile makes my pain

go away and gives me strength to keep going on. Thank

you from the bottom of my heart. I love you so much. You

have saved me so many times. God bless you always.

Speaking frankly; so many times I have dedicated my

poetry and books to people that turned out, they never

deserved it. But I have no regrets because I was being

honest about my feelings in that moment. I live and then

learn and if I cry or get hurt I write about it and move

on. A book dedication to me is a big deal and it should

be considered an honor. I normally dedicate my work

to special people in my current life who have shown me

hope, love, respect and support. Rosita beats them all.
