I Yearn for You
Due to distance and space, I long to see your face,
I yearn for you.
There is something inside your heart I can’t live without, your hands, your touch; also mean the world no doubt,
I yearn for you.
The love we shared, I’ve tried to match and compare, but there is none like you, it is not just physical; it’s emotional too, hence why
I yearn for you.
It was oh so brief but long enough to speak to every inch of my being,
Making love every night, hoping, praying, and seeing if what we felt was real.
Now that you are gone, I realize I knew all along, whether you are here or
There, I will forever yearn for you and only you, leaving my heart in the
Deepest despair…
Mr. Wrong
Taking me for granted was your specialty,
College sweetheart gone wrong, you hurt me and wasted my time,
Shame on you Mr. Wrong,
I have no more tears left to cry so,
Here’s the deal, understand where I’m coming from and how you made me feel,
There is nothing right about you Mr. Wrong.
I no longer want you. Since
A man is supposed to be more to me than the bane of my existence,
I was young never longing so hard before, my love wasn’t posing resistance,
All of your actions were uncalled for Mr. Wrong.
Being a truth teller is easy since there is no lie to remember,
As much as I should want to, I will never regret marrying you that September,
I’m guilty of sincerely loving you Mr.
