Words, Thoughts, Imaginations, and Inspirational Reading - Terry Sturgis

    When Will It All End?

This is written to all the brothers and sisters, as we call one another, to whom are members of the black race. I just ask that you please take the time and read this:

From the very early days, days that we now call old, there have been hard times for the black race. Our great-great-grandparents lived in a time when they were enslaved—men and women. Many of them died from broken hearts, broken spirits, or by simply being put to death. And even though those times were really hard, a great many of them survived. They survived and fought, so that their children’s and their children’s children’s lives would be better than what they had. Their only question was; when will it all end?

As the years passed on, a great many of the things that they fought for was finally overcome. And today, the man of color has a chance to prove himself and be successful. Today, he can obtain an education and go on to pursue any field he chooses. Today, his voice can be heard, in any city, any state, any country in the world. But today, he chooses to wreak all the dreams that so many died trying to achieve. Please won’t you tell me; when will it all end?

Each and every day, I read where the man of color has taken what belongs to another. I read, and I see where he has enslaved his race once again with the sell and use of drugs. And every day, there is the senseless waste of a life caused by his own hands—all the gang wars and the pointless ending of lives; black men killing other black men. This is not the dream that our ancestors worked, cried, and died for. So before the black race wipes itself completely from existence, Stop and ask yourself, when will it all end?

    When I Dream

At night, when I dream, there is only you. I see you in all your beautiful splendor. You come to me when the night is in its twilight hour. We embrace, lightly touching each other’s skin, slowly exploring the others body. Our lips connect, and the searing heat of passion yet to come, starts to flow through our souls. And it is now the beginning of love that is ever so special. But I have to remember that I am only dreaming of you.

In my dream, I start by kissing your body. For I want to love every inch of you. Give to me all of you—mind, body and soul—so that I may taste all your sweetness. Let me love you, not only physically, but emotionally also. So that together we may explore the vastness of time and space, where we lose ourselves in ecstasy and the pleasures of true love. But as before, I have to remember that this is only when I dream.

Let my night end, and I open my eyes to the morning light. My thoughts are of the night when I dream, but spend my time alone. And as the day flows
