Marjorie Murrow

Marjorie lives in Tucson, Arizona with her husband and dog, Shelby, who appeared in her first children's book, "The Surprise in Grandma's Eyes" (2009). She has 3 grown children and proudly claims 9 grandchildren who delight her and motivate her storytelling. Marjorie taught in the public schools for 25 years. She is now enjoying retirement and fulfilling her lifelong dream to be a published author. This is Marjorie's 5th book published by Author House. Her other children's books include "Lacey and the Gardener" (2010) and "Keisha's Coat" (2011). Marjorie has also published a poetry book for adults, "Treasures of the Heart" (2012).

Without a hope, without a dream, this book would never have come into being. Hopes and dreams alone could never have accomplished it either. Therefore, it is with a grateful heart that I thank my son, Shane Murrow, and my brother, Richard Pruitt, for their loving encouragement and support in helping me fulfill my dream.
