Many couples are stressed up in their homes to the point of separation not realizing that they hold the key to the solution of their distress. The youth are getting into marriages with very high expectations which easily pull them apart if they don’t match up.

On the other hand, either party could be living a lie in the marriage. What do I mean? One person thinks they are happily married yet the other could be keeping his/her sorrows to himself/herself. It can weigh down on someone to the extent of acquiring terminal illnesses or death.

This book aims at teaching you how to overcome the inevitable challenges in marriage and keep holding onto your vows. Every good thing in life has had a share of its challenges, and so is marriage. The challenges can only be considered stepping stones if the purpose of marriage is well understood.

Marriage is a covenant that involves the formation of a sacred bond between a woman and a man which is instituted by and entered into in the presence of God and consummated by sexual intercourse. By this definition of marriage, we realize the plans God has for marriage.

Why so much concern about The Marriage Institution?

The mishaps in marriage have denied the establishment its original purpose of lifetime commitment. The more the world advances and life becomes easier, the more separation and divorce cases we encounter.

Why is it so?

We have lost the purpose as originally planned. Our God-given responsibilities in marriage have also been shunned by many thus destroying God’s plan for marriage. The major concern is to rejuvenate the institution so that it can once again bloom.

Who are The Enemies of The Marriage Institution?

We are self-enemies within the institution. Reason; When we allow any unwelcomed person or thing to interfere with our marriage, we lose track. Each day of our lives, we are surrounded by enemies. Our job is to fight them and never allow them space in our marriages. The first conversation towards a successful marriage is between you and God.
