Experience is the best teacher; as earlier recorded by Julius Caesar is a proverb that we cannot afford to ignore. Right from the beginning of creation, we have had to rely on Bible stories to get the real picture of the person God wants to see in us.

If at all nobody took us through the passion of Christ, I bet it would be hard to believe in Him. The consequence of the sin committed by Adam and Eve whirls in our minds as if it’s a yesterday event! Paul’s conversion is a story that has a lot of teachings. And what do we get from Job’s story? His first, second and third choice was God no matter the situation. Never would he change his mind. And the list is endless!

All these narrations are experiences. Some of the culprits learned after burning their fingers. We still learn from the same occurrences to date. That is the life cycle that makes the world a better place by the day. Even today, people have used their experiences to build empires that have become a source of hope for many.

I recently came across a young lady whose life completely changed after her involvement in a road accident. At twenty-five, she already had to live with metal plates in her body. It was all because of driving at night in a drunken state. The other four occupants of the car lost their lives. She’s not ashamed to share her story as she looks forward to saving a life.

This book employs the same pattern. Practical examples have always proved to be easier to memorize. It happened to someone, it is happening to someone, and it will happen to another person. As thorny as infidelity may look, the solution lies in using the case studies to avoid or tackle the problem.

When I look at the state of many marriages, I wonder where the future of humanity lies because it is in a marriage that God brings life! It then occurs to me that we are just not doing something right. To do it right, we have to learn how to do it and then practically engage in putting things in order.

To succeed in crushing infidelity, your efforts must match the rewards you expect. One against one; ten against ten; thirty against thirty! After all, if one dollar can only buy a packet of milk, you can’t get ten packets of milk for one dollar!

God has given us all the resources to fight infidelity. Let’s get down to the job.

Introduction

Whether married or not, every woman is familiar with the word infidelity, betrayal, unfaithfulness or adultery, whichever is easier on your lips. We have either directly or indirectly experienced betrayal. It’s either your mothers’ story, a friend, colleague, aunt, neighbor, daughter or you!

Even though it cuts across the board, I will specifically concentrate on women because they are the most affected. From a collection of experiences by women, comes the birth of this book. The outspoken nature of women portrays how deep the pain sinks into their nerves.

I choose to rubbish the general view of unfaithfulness as a normal part of life. The masses consider infidelity as day to day experience. Let me give you a reason why we somehow acknowledge adultery. Infidelity existed right from before we were born; we have embraced it, and we believe it shall never come to an end. I’m not referring specifically to me and you but to humanity at large.

Infidelity or betrayal is the one painful activity that corrodes a marriage and can easily make an absurd turn in the way a couple relates to one another. Speaking it out is another decision that does not quite resonate with many of us. Suffering in silence then takes a toll on some affected parties; the repercussions of the silence notwithstanding.
