Suzy Q

Suzy Q retired from the Atlantic City Superior Court of New Jersey after being employed there for 30 1/2 years of service. Suzy Q has a BA in History with a minor in Criminal Justice from Montclair State University of Montclair, New Jersey, and she has a MA degree in Human Resources Training and Development from Seton Hall University in Orange New Jersey. In February 2010, upon retirement from the court system, she moved to Concord, North Carolina with her husband Lawrence. Prior to her retirement Suzy Q had enrolled in an online PhD Program at Capella University. She is now majoring in Advance Studies of Human Behavior in Psychology. However she also writes books in her spare time, which now is her passion. So at the present times she is multitasking with these endeavors; Lawrence, school, and writing books. She also got an American Bull Dog (Jade) who is now her other partner. Suzy Q is now a member at Simpson Gillespie United Methodist Church in Charlotte, North Carolina. She had recently been named the co-chairperson of the Evangelism Committee. And Suzy Q is now presently the co-chairperson of the Worship Committed and she also is one of the teachers in Childrens Church. This is Suzy Qs second novel; her first book title is (First there were three friends now there are two). All of her upcoming novels will be focused on Health Issues. However this book deals with money problems, that most of us have; and she feels that this book is very relatable and important to talk about. Today so many people young and old are suffering because they are faced with money issues, especially right now during this economic crisis that many of us are experiencing. Because so many people are out of work and can not pay their bills on time, many of them are being harassed by arrogant bill or debt collectors. It is Suzy Qs hope that all of her novels can be a benefit by helping the reader who is going through something to absorb this information; which might help them see their way clear while giving them some hope, happiness, spirituality; and to help steer them in the right direction. Suzy Q does use a Christian base for her story lines, because she knows about the power of prayer, and she knows that prayer does change things. Most of all she knows how good God has been to her. All Suzy Q has for God is Total Praise.

This phenomenon has allowed me to have the vision to write this novel.

And we have to continue to thank God for letting us make it through!

I pray that you find this novel enjoyable to read as well as encouraging, relatable and a guide for hope.

    ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS

I want to first acknowledge God who is first and foremost in my life! Through his vision, grace and mercy I was able to write this Christian Novel. Yes this is my second book.

I acknowledge that it is his will and his blessings for me to tell my stories in a Christian way. I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me! I thank you God for being so awesome in my life!

God who saw it fit to allow me to retire, move to North Carolina, get sick and then get well again so that I could continue to write Christian Novels; and God has also allowed me the opportunity to work on my PhD. I give God the honor and glory for this blessing. He is truly an awesome God!

God you have been better to me than I have been to you, so I thank you again and give you total praise.

For I know the thoughts I think towards you, thoughts of peace and not of evil to give you an expected end.

    Jeremiah 29:11

Again to all of the people who have been harassed by bill collectors, telemarketers or who have received any unwanted phone calls or bills, this acknowledgement is for you as well.

Many of you who are reading this book may also be able to relate to similar situations such as this with bill collectors.

If you are being harassed by bill collectors, ask them to stop calling you and then ask them to send their request for payments or any correspondence to you by mail. If they refused to stop calling, try to get their names and find out who their supervisors are and let the supervisors know what is happening to you.

Please always get a name. If this does not work, contact a legal authority such as the Better Business Bureau, Newspaper or a Television News or Radio Station to have them to intervene for you.

Again by all means document everything, by getting their names, phone numbers and the dates and times of the calls.

It is also very important that you keep all of your receipts in a safe place at least for three to five years! Many times you have bill collectors that will try to harass you and charge you for bills that you have already paid.

In this severe economic time of hardship, many people will be unable to pay their bills and mortgages; and they will be harassed by mean and disrespectful bill collectors. Many times it seems like you can’t see your way clear and you are at your wits end, you become very depressed and helpless because of the harassment you are enduring.

The worst thing for you to do is to ignore these bills or the bill collectors, because they don’t go away and the mean bill collectors will continue to harass you again and again; and sometimes they may even put you into collection which can be much more problematic for you.

Friends please, please do not ignore these complaints, and please know that help is on the way! So hold on, and document the harassment, report them, and then find a reputable credit consolidation company to help you work out these problems.

And then keep on praying, and trusting and believing that God will make a way.

Please know that God does answer prayers. And you need to know that prayer is a very strong and viable vehicle for some peace! When all else fails God will direct your path.

He hears your cries and he also feels your pain!

Be Blessed today, because this is the day that the Lord has made, and let us rejoice and be glad in it!

    Psalm 118:24

    SHHHH’S IT’S THE BILL COLLECTOR

    INTRODUCTION

Sandra Johnson is a very gorgeous African American woman. She also is a single divorced mother and grandmother who is raising her three sons, one daughter and her adorable grandson as well. She and her husband divorced ten years ago. Sandra is not only gorgeous but she also is one of the nicest person ever to have in your life. They don’t come any nicer than Sandra, she has a heart of gold. Even in the situation that she is in, Sandra would do anything for you! All you have to do is ask, she never turns anyone away. What a giving spirit she has. She’ll give you her shirt off her back and with a smile too; and she’ll also give you a delicious hot meal too!

Ever since the divorce she has been supporting the boys and her daughter on her own. Her ex-husband never gave them any type of support, emotionally or financially. He never even spent time with the children as a father. Sandra has had to play mother and father to them at all times. However she has grown to love her parenting roles and would not change a thing, not even one thing would she change. Her love for her children is very strong. And these children know how much Sandra loves them. Raina is 19, Michael is 15, Wayne is 13 and Anthony who is the baby is 11 years old. Her daughter Raina is very beautiful and she is also very ambitious; and all three of her sons are very handsome, athletic and very respectable. They are always very obedient, and helpful to their mother; and they loved their mother as much as she loves them. Sandra’s grandson Javon is six years old. Javon is cute as a button and he is very lovable. His mother Cheryl passed away two years ago from Breast Cancer at the age of twenty six. So Sandra stepped in and got custody of him. She was not going to let just any one raise her grandson. She adores Javon, and he has been the love of her life and his uncles and aunt as well. Javon keeps Sandra and the whole family laughing all of the time. Sandra said she doesn’t know what she would do if Javon wasn’t with them.

Sandra tells everyone that she would walk across water for her children, and she means it too!

However at times she has had to work two jobs just to give her family the things they needed, and of course what they sometimes wanted. She also makes sure they have a good Christian upbringing. Every Sunday they went to church as a family. On Tuesday evenings she took the boys to prayer meetings. This is where they learned the scriptures, how to pray and to sing the songs of Zion. And one Saturday every month they helped with the church feeding program for the homeless people.

The Joy of the Lord is her Strength!

Sandra gives thanks and praise to God for her whole family who has also been very supportive to her by helping her with babysitting and finances whenever she needed it. And Lord knows she needed money, she was still paying bills that her ex-husband left her with. She just got tired of going to court for the support hearings, because her ex-husband always failed to show up. This only cost Sandra to lose more money, because she had to take off from work without pay; and of course she needed all of her time that was wasted going
