Suzy Q

Suzy Q retired from the Atlantic City Superior Court of New Jersey after being employed there for 30 1/2 years of service. Suzy Q has a BA in History with a minor in Criminal Justice from Montclair State University of Montclair, New Jersey, and she has a MA degree in Human Resources Training and Development from Seton Hall University in Orange New Jersey. In February 2010, upon retirement from the court system, she moved to Concord, North Carolina with her husband Lawrence. Prior to her retirement Suzy Q had enrolled in an online PhD Program at Capella University. She is now majoring in Advance Studies of Human Behavior in Psychology. However she also writes books in her spare time, which now is her passion. So at the present times she is multitasking with these endeavors; Lawrence, school, and writing books. She also got an American Bull Dog (Jade) who is now her other partner. Suzy Q is now a member at Simpson Gillespie United Methodist Church in Charlotte, North Carolina. She had recently been named the co-chairperson of the Evangelism Committee. And Suzy Q is now presently the co-chairperson of the Worship Committed and she also is one of the teachers in Childrens Church. This is Suzy Qs second novel; her first book title is (First there were three friends now there are two). All of her upcoming novels will be focused on Health Issues. However this book deals with money problems, that most of us have; and she feels that this book is very relatable and important to talk about. Today so many people young and old are suffering because they are faced with money issues, especially right now during this economic crisis that many of us are experiencing. Because so many people are out of work and can not pay their bills on time, many of them are being harassed by arrogant bill or debt collectors. It is Suzy Qs hope that all of her novels can be a benefit by helping the reader who is going through something to absorb this information; which might help them see their way clear while giving them some hope, happiness, spirituality; and to help steer them in the right direction. Suzy Q does use a Christian base for her story lines, because she knows about the power of prayer, and she knows that prayer does change things. Most of all she knows how good God has been to her. All Suzy Q has for God is Total Praise.

Patti La Belle sings you are my friends. Well you are all my family and friends, and I love you all for this!

And I would be remised if I did not thank all of the people who have been hassled daily by Bill Collectors, telemarketers, scammers, wrong numbers and any other debt harassers who have made unwanted phone calls to you; and then I praise all of you for, having the courage and faith to trust and believe in God by holding on.

This phenomenon has allowed me to have the vision to write this novel.

Please know that trouble don’t last always; and there is a bright side somewhere; and I always thank you God, because Joy does come in the morning!

And we have to continue to pray while thanking God for letting us make, it through another day!

Lastly I pray that you find this novel enjoyable to read as well as spiritual, relatable, informative and a guide for hope.

    Acknowledgements

I want to first acknowledge God who is first and foremost in my life! Through his vision, love, favor, grace and mercy I was able to write this Christian Novel. Yes this is my second novel!

I acknowledge that it is his will and his blessings for me to tell my stories in a Christian way.

I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me! Philippians 4:13. I thank you God for being so awesome in my life!

Yes God who saw it fit to allow me to retire after thirty years and a half years from the Superior Court of New Jersey, move to North Carolina, get sick and then get well again so that I could continue to write my Christian Novels; and God has also allowed me the opportunity to work on my PhD. Most importantly he allowed me to be a loving wife with my husband as a part of our team. Because of this I give God the honor and glory for this blessing. He is truly a mighty awesome God and worthy to be praised!

God you have been better to me than I have been to you, so I thank you again. God you looked beyond my faults and saw my needs!

For I know the thoughts I think towards you, thoughts of peace and not of evil to give you an expected end.

    Jeremiah 29:11

Again to all of the people who have been harassed by bill

collector, telemarketers or anyone who have received any unwanted phone calls or bills, this acknowledgement and book is for you as well.

And many of you who are reading this book may also be able to relate to similar situations such as this with harassing bill collectors.

If you are being harassed by some bill collectors, ask them to stop calling you, and then ask them to send their request for payments or any correspondence to you by mail. If they refused to stop calling, try to get their names or an extension number and find out who their supervisors are.

Please let the supervisors know what is happening to you. And always get that supervisor’s name that you spoke with! If this does not work, contact a legal authority such as the Better Business Bureau, Newspaper or a Television News/Radio Station to have them to intervene for you.

Again by all means document everything, by getting their names, phone numbers and the dates and times of the calls. This so important to have for when you are filing a complaint.

It is also very important that you keep all of your receipts and records in a safe place at least for three to five years! Many times you have collectors that will try to harass you and try to collect for bills that you have already paid.

In this severe economic time of hardship, many people will be unable to pay their bills, rents and mortgages; and they will be harassed by mean and disrespectful bill collectors. Many times you can’t see your way clear and you are at your wits end, you become very depressed and helpless because of the harassment you are enduring and not knowing who to talk too to get help. These types of harassment can make you very ill. But hold on help is on the way!

The worst thing for you to do is to ignore these bills or the bill collectors’ calls. Because they don’t go away, these mean and harassing bill collectors will continue to harass you again and again, day in and out; and sometimes they may even put you into collection which can also be much more problematic for you.

Friends please, please do not ignore these complaints, and please know that help is on the way! So hold on; again please document the harassment, report them, and then find a reputable credit consolidation company to help you work out the problems.

Share your story with others. You might find someone who had similar experiences. They may be able to share information on what you can do to help resolve your problem. And then just keep on praying and trusting and believing that God will make a way. Yes God will make a way for you when there seems to be no way.

    Isaiah 43:16.

And please know that God does answer prayers. And prayer is a very strong and viable vehicle for some peace! When all else fails God will direct your path.

He hears your cries, sees your tears and he also feels your pain!

Be blessed today, because this is the day that the Lord has made, and we are going to rejoice and be glad in it!
