Putting God first in all we do! Remember to play the tape back in your mind of things that caused you to not hear God’s direction and hindered you from moving forward. Don’t go backward, okay? I hope and pray that the tools that I have placed in this book from the Word of God will be helpful in your daily living. Through every storm there’s a miracle; at the end there is a rainbow. Lord, I just want to say I acknowledge your presence, and I’m thankful for everything you’ve done for me throughout my life. I want to give thanks to my godparents Vivian Turner, Patricia Hall, and Sharon Jackson. Auntie Casandra Jackson, Charles, and Carlos Hawkins, I love you very much! Thank you all for your love, support, and guidance throughout my life after my mother passed. I love you all very much! Thank you!

I want to thank my sisters Brandi Hall and Tamika Campbell for being there for me no matter what. I love you both as well, along with my father, other siblings, and family members on my father’s side. I want to give thanks to Rev. Robin Harris who has also been supportive, along with Sherice Wright, my sister in Christ, who has been an awesome supporter during the separation of my family during my struggles. Thank you so much, and I love you very much.

I also want to give thanks to my kids for their love, forgiveness, understanding, help, and support. Lord, I ask that you continue to give them knowledge and wisdom as they grow in your presence. Let them acknowledge your presence, and guide their steps Lord! We love you. Amen!

To all my family members, friends, and readers, I wrote this book to encourage others, just like others have encouraged me. God is real. He is our Father, and he truly loves us. Remember, there is no turning back to things that caused us to be separated from God. One thing for sure is that God is a forgiving God, and he understands our struggles. Churches

As a young child by the age of eight, I fellowshipped at Evangel Cathedral when they were on Rhode Island Avenue until my late teens. I moved out of state, and when I returned in my late twenties, I returned back to Evangel Cathedral where they had moved to Upper Marlboro, Maryland. During my fellowship there as a child until now, there was so much love. I learned so much, and I was spiritually fed by Pastor Don and Pastor Eric. I also want to thank Pastor Eric for his help and support during my times of struggle. I also thank God for Pastor Don, First Lady Marion Meares, and Pastor Eric praying for me and my family. May God continue to be a blessing to you and your family. Thank you!

I want to give thanks to Pastor James Bradford and First Lady Wendy Bradford at Living Word Love Fellowship Ministries for all their prayers and support. I also thank God for Pastor James Bradford who took the time to pick me and my family up three times a week so I could attend Bible study, choir rehearsal, church service, and any other upcoming events. Wendy, I thank you as well for your warm, loving heart and kindness toward me and my family. I thank you for taking the time to pray for me and encourage me every time it was needed with a beautiful glow from your heart. During the time I was in the shelter, I truly thank you for your help with the feedings of the homeless shelters, prayers, and donations from you and the support of your church.
