Our Lord and Savior, who has so beautifully pieced my life together in such a way that He could speak life, love, hope, and grace to me and through me. There will never be enough words to describe my humble gratitude for His presence in my life.

My husband, Mitch, who has always encouraged me and never stopped believing in me, even when I did not (or could not) believe in myself. He is one of the kindest, most gentle souls I know – always behind the scenes, never taking any recognition, and leading our family with humility, grace and love

My precious twin sister, Heidi. Having the privilege of doing life with a twin is literally having the perfect friend. I wish you could meet her – she is beautiful inside and out, has the kindest, most giving heart, and is truly a reflection of Jesus. I could write about her for days and still not begin to glorify the courageous, strong, and gracious woman she is.

My sweet daughter, Emily – my angel baby for her heart for Jesus, her heart to serve, and her ability to give both amazing grace and a tiny bit of truth. When I first sent examples of my writing to my editor, I commented, What if she isn’t touched by them? Without hesitation, Emily said, I don’t know how that is even possible; God has given you a gift. Very humbling.

My mom and grandma, who both showed me unconditional love, kindness, and instilled in me a heart to serve those less fortunate, to love the unlovely, and to give without limits. They, too, survived a harsh world and persevered with courage and the utmost strength.
