About this ebook

19-year-old Fiona Caufield is home from college for the summer and finds out that her handsome neighbor, Jasper, whom she's had a crush on since she was 11, is now divorced.

Although he's 20 years older, she thinks he's a living dream and decides to give him her innocence as a perfect way to cheer him up and "bring him back to life" after his horrible divorce.

But what Fiona thinks is just a sexy summer fling is something much bigger for Jasper who has no intention of letting his perfect 19-year old lover return to college in Boston.

He's got a plan to make sure she stays in New York and becomes his wife, he just doesn't let Fiona in on his secret until the last moment and by then it's too late.

Matilda loves many things---her husband, dachshunds, cats, the two terrible Chihuahuas who live with her, Paris, New York, a few select friends and family, Nutella, books, lots and lots of books, and writing sweet, steamy romance for nerdy girls-- because that's who I am.If you like your romances steamy but sweet. Sexy, but on the shorter side. With smart and sassy heroines who fall for soulful Alphas- then you might like my books.I write A LOT of OMYW, cause that's just my bag. But no matter what kind of story it is, my ladies are always adored and my endings are always HEA.Please head to my blog: www.matildamartel.com, to learn what's in the final stages and will be coming out soon!Want a free Ebook? My name is Fiona... Fiona Siobhan Caufield.  I’m an ordinary girl with a pretty ordinary life.  I grew up in a nice suburb, an hour outside of the city with one older sister and parents who have been married for a little more than twenty-two years. Mom and Dad live in the same house they’ve lived in since they moved to Westchester County sixteen years ago and for the last year, I’ve lived and attended school in Boston. This is my first summer home from college. It was a tough year, but after struggling all semester to keep my 4.0 grade average, I am ready for a nice summer off doing nothing but hanging by the pool and ogling my gorgeous neighbor, Jasper.

I know, I know. I should be more ambitious, but I have my reasons.

For the last eight years, my parents have lived next door to one of the sexiest, most handsome men I have ever laid eyes on. He’s not sexy and gorgeous to everyone I’m sure, but I think he’s a living dream.

I still remember the day Jasper Kennedy moved in like it was yesterday. I was 11-years-old and he and his wife must have been newlyweds. I’ve never figured out his age, but I think he was in his early thirties back then and only a few years out of law school. Dark brown hair, sparkling blue eyes, tall, lean, with the perfect amount of muscles peeking out of his short-sleeve shirts. My schoolgirl eyes followed him everywhere.

Jasper and his now, ex-wife Katrina bought the biggest house in the neighborhood because, according to her, they planned to fill it up with babies and live the perfect American life.

These were terrible years for me. As far as I was concerned, that tramp was married to my husband. And in the end, none of that happened.

Apparently, that curse I placed on her, worked after all. God knows, it took its time.

For 8 years I saw his wife slowly but surely chisel him down to the shell of the man he is today. All he ever did was work to get her all the fancy things she wanted, and it
