About this ebook

Aline Iversen has a problem. Her longtime crush, a college professor she's pined over for years has finally asked her out, but she's got no experience with men--no real experience, if you know what I mean.
Fortunately for her, she meets Stuart Watson. He's not her type, their companies are working on a joint venture and he might be an inappropriate choice, but he'll do for one night. After all, she only needs one night to learn some tricks to wow the man of her dreams and hopefully win his heart.
Stuart delivers. Aline is impressed, swept off her feet, but she can't let a little attraction stand in the way of her longtime wish to be with the man of her dreams--or can she?
Stuart is in love. He knows someone like Aline only comes around once in a lifetime and he's not going to let her flakiness and schoolgirl fantasy stand in the way of destiny.
One way or another, he's keeping Aline for himself.
If you like alpha men, sassy, smart women, steamy, dirty love scenes that end in a sweet, tidy Happily Ever After, you'll like Aline and Stuart's love story.

    PROLOGUE

When I was four-years-old, my father took me on a tour of his company. I remember the day vividly. My older brothers, the twins, Adam and Alex trailed behind, cracking jokes while Daddy showed me his empire. That’s what he called it. He’d built it from scratch and said one day he was leaving it to the three of us.

It’s all for you, baby. But let your brother’s help.

As fortunate as I know I am, it’s not fun having your whole future planned out for you at such a young age. My brothers seemed fine with Daddy’s expectations. The moment they finished school, they joined the company and never looked back. Daddy expected the same from me and I felt horrible disappointing him.

After paying for my very expensive Ivy League education---which I excelled at, thank you very much, I pleaded with him to give me a year before joining the firm.  I will still be joining Iversen Industries, there is no getting around that, but for one year, I want to gain real experience working on my own.

It doesn’t feel right jumping into an executive position right out of college. I don’t care if I am the boss’s daughter. Believe me, I don’t think a year of work experience is long enough either. But that is all Daddy will give me and I need to take my victory and run.

As it turns out, Daddy hasn’t let me run very far. He’s generously secured me a marketing position at my Uncle Phil’s startup company, Ivercom, which is housed in the same building as his.

That was not part of the deal.

I’m not proud of the incredibly childish tantrum I threw in which I accused him of ruining my one opportunity to be viewed as an equal contributor, but I believed for a small moment I made some headway. After calming me down, he promised he had a marvelous idea that would make me feel better.  He suggested I use my mother’s maiden name, Luzel, to hide my connection to both him and my uncle.

    It’s a win-win, darling.

    It was completely asinine, but
