    HAPPILY EVER NOW DEDICATION

People never get special things done without the support of many. I am no exception.

At the top of my list is my wife and best friend, Nadine. She has been along with me on this ride called life for the past 30 years. It has been my love for her that has inspired me to find answers for us when we needed them most. This workbook is dedicated to her and all the amazing women who will benefit from its contents.

To my mother, Loretta, and my father, Sal. I am very blessed to have been raised by such kind and selfless parents. Anything good about me came from their example. My mother has taught me the values of family, tireless love, and commitment. My father taught me to be a proud, strong man and follow my own path.

Thank you Matt and Sal for being my brothers. There is never a time that I cannot count on you. I know I am never alone because you are both here for me under any circumstances.

To my children: Gabrielle, Thomas and Nicholas – thank you for enriching my life and being a piece of me to leave behind when my life is complete. I am hopeful that I have given you the love and support given to me by my parents.

To my professional mentors and friends including Dr. David Singer, Bill Timmins, and Dr. Freddie Ulan-these gentlemen taught me clinical and administrative skills to work from a place of purpose and service to humanity.

Special thanks to Dr. Leonard Coldwell and Peter Wink, the cofounders of the IBMS Masters Society, for creating the exercises utilized throughout this guide. They have proven very valuable when I completed them and I hope they provide the same for the women using this guide.

Finally, to my staff – Lauri, my 2nd wife for the past 17 years for watching my back; Bonnie, my assistant, for literally standing by my side as I serve my patients every day, and Breanna for stepping up to get this publication prepared for print. Special thanks go out to Lisa for pushing me to get my thoughts on paper so I could get this project launched immediately.

To all the women of varying ages and backgrounds - may you find value, health and life solutions in the time you invested studying this material.

    INTRODUCTION

Hi. My name is Dr. Tom Ianniello and when I was 17 years old I was faced with a crisis in my life. I was locked away in a hospital for 7 weeks, told I was a manic depressive, and was drugged over the course of the next two years. I was told I would never think normally and never have control over my own life. After two years of drug therapy and psychiatric care, I found myself more depressed than ever. I had gained 100 pounds and became socially withdrawn. I was afraid to leave the house and lost my ability to attain an erection due to the side effects of the lithium I was taking. At my lowest point, I considered what it would be like if I was not here anymore. Through sheer desire to survive, my sadness grew to anger. On a moment’s notice, I summoned the courage and made a life decision to throw the drugs away and take control of my life. I have never looked back since then.

That was over 33 years ago. For close to 35 years, I’ve studied human physiology and the healing power of the human body. I attained a doctorate degree in Chiropractic and learned how to heal my body with food, good nutritional supplementation, proper attitude, a balanced nervous system, and personal growth. I don’t put any drugs in my body and have not seen a medical physician since I threw the drugs away. I married and helped my wife cure her infertility after 3 medical physicians told us we could not have children. We have raised our 3 children, ages 23, 22 and 14, drug free. My children are not vaccinated, have never been to a medical physician or hospital, and have never been sick.

I choose to put nothing in my body that is not from a healthy source. I talk the talk and I walk the walk. I strive to improve day to day and am proud to say I have never been sick and have never missed a day in clinical practice in 24 years. It should be normal to live this way, but is unfortunately uncommon. If you let me figure out the health issues that are bothering you, I can help you achieve the same type of vitality that would allow you to live the life that you want, unhindered by anyone’s hand. These are the things I do for my patients and clients. There are many different ways to approach health and there are many different ways we can help the body feel better. Each person is an individual with a unique history. Therefore, the individual answers come from an individual discussion with an individual solution on an individual basis.

I have had the pleasure to work with over ten thousand patients and clients in my career, and have spent a great deal of time treating countless women and the common health issues they face. After curing my wife of her infertility, I realized early on that there is a need for improved, drug free options to aid today’s overstressed woman. I will present to you in this next hour the 4 major components necessary to prevent, maintain, and restore the health and vitality of any woman of any age from any background.

HAPPILY EVER NOW ADRENAL HEALTH - SECTION 1

The adrenal glands are two plum sized glands that sit on top of each kidney. They are responsible for creating the hormones that help us handle the effects of all different types of stress. In addition, they are necessary to regulate our sex hormones, balance blood sugar, balance thyroid function, drive mood and sleep patterns, create energy, balance inflammation response, drive immunity, and stabilize metabolism. As you can see, they are incredibly important to maintain optimum health.

Clinically, there are 5 major symptoms that are most common for stress to these glands:

    1. FATIGUE. Being tired even after 8-12 hours of sleep; Nodding off throughout the day; No energy, drive, or motivation to tackle the day with excitement. You basically feel as though you’re dragging your body through the day just waiting to go home to collapse.

    2. SLEEP DISTURBANCE. Either you can’t shut down at night or you pass out too early on the couch and find yourself wide awake at 2 in the morning, staring at the ceiling, your mind racing with all the things you have to get done the next day.

    3. EMOTIONAL UPS AND DOWNS. You suffer from weepiness, depression, anxiety, mood swings for no reason; suffer with foggy brain where confusion and unclear thoughts plague you; very forgetful.

    4. LOSS OF SEX DRIVE. You have noticed a major shift in your desire for healthy sex with your partner. It has become too much work to create the time and energy for sexual intimacy. You would rather sit up alone and enjoy chocolate or ice cream. Emotional numbness develops.

    5. METABOLIC CHALLENGES. Weight gain or loss, thyroid problems, hormone issues, blood sugar problems.

    ADRENAL FACTS

As stated previously, the adrenal system regulates your hormone and immune system. The adrenal glands produce adrenaline. They also produce master hormones to cope with stress. These two hormones are:

    1. Cortisol-controls and regulates the immune system

    2. Dehydroepiandrosterone (DHEA)- enhances immune function and helps production of sex hormones (estrogens and testosterone).
