Shayla Brantley

Shayla Guy was born on November 30, 1984 in Memphis, TN. At a young age she had a lot to deal with, but never knew what to do with all of it or why things were even happening. In the seventh grade, she discovered her passion for writing and the English language. It was then that she began to realize the purpose for all of her pain and pleasure. From that moment each of her situations became a part of her destiny. As a mother of three and a wife, Shayla Brantley has become not only the author of her life in its entirety. As Shayla continues to create works of art through her poetry she shows that she is an unfinished work of art in a masterpiece that God has designed for the world. Author of Preparation For My Destiny, Shayla has decided to continue to write until her destiny is truly fulfilled according to Gods will.
