In 2004, she earned her master's degree in library science from the same school. Jen has worked as a professional librarian for over twelve years.     Introduction

    My mother always taught me to look beyond the surface before delving in too deep. Good advice coming from a woman who’s already been divorced two times before she’d met my father, (who had never so much as dated let alone been married before). They also say that the third time’s a charm; that’s why their marriage lasted when the other two failed most miserably. Most likely, anyway, or so they think.

    After two years of blissful wedlock, I came into the world—all 7 lbs. and 4 oz. of me! Mom did not mention me as having been a tough delivery, but I was still somewhat of a big baby compared to some others who were born around the same time. (I don’t know where they got the basis for this information, they just did!)
