Jen Selinsky was born in Pittsburgh, PA. In 2003, she earned her bachelor's degree in English from Clarion University of Pennsylvania. In 2004, she earned her master's degree in library science from the same school. Jen has worked as a professional librarian for over twelve years. Brian Whittaker stood on the ledge of his penthouse, looking down at the streets below. He was ready to end it all. Life had no meaning, and he longer wanted to live in a lonely and empty world such as this. Bad things happened every day, and life guaranteed no certainties. What kind of existence was that for a lonely person like him?
Brian had never married; he was in his mid 40s. He never took the time to settle down because of his prosperity in his real estate business—always too busy with meetings and sales. Even when he was out drinking and socializing with his friends,
his mind always seemed to be on his work.
Mr. Whittaker was a kind man, even though he had no actual friends. His company, alone, supported various charities, as he was very generous with the money he received. He was doing the Lord’s work, but the problem was that he didn’t know it.
