    INTRODUCTION

    I HAVE BEEN DIETING all my life, I was a fat baby, an even fatter child an obese adult (384 pounds), and I maintained this body shape while consistently following one fad diet after another, using one weight loss machine after another and buying into more exercising programs that I care to remember. 

    I too became the victim of a diet mentality, a battle that I thought could not be won, a system based entirely on the fact that it would fail.

    How often would I encounter the words diets don’t work published in a book that included a diet. How often have I been told that it’s a lifestyle change by the very people sitting opposite me eating the same unhealthy food I was eating.

    We have been lied to for too long, exposed to diets which in its basic format is designed to let you fail, offered promises of amazing results when your body frame or shape can never make you look like the photo in the magazine.

    This is not another diet, you will not find a list of recommended foods or exercise routine’s, just pure solid facts relating to losing the weight, gaining a healthy body and living the life you were meant too.

    Chapter 1. Time to Make that Change

    YOU ARE NOT READING this book because diets worked, as a matter of fact like me you most likely read numerous books, followed various diets and swallowed more weight loss tablets than the average pill addict all without success.

    But what if we chose to change the process, change the thinking, in essence, change the approach to losing weight. What if the problem was never the diet.

    Statistically proven 95% of all dieters, gain back the weight and end up weighing more than they did before they started dieting.

    Up and till now your thoughts have been in terms of rules and restrictions. I can't eat this, I am not allowed that and focused all your energy on the problem rather than the cause. But what is the cause?
