What Is the Low-Carb Diet?
The Low-Carb diet works by prompting the body to mainly use fat for energy instead of storing it in the body tissues.
Here’s how it works:
When you eat food that’s rich in carbohydrates, the body produces glucose and insulin.
Glucose – Glucose is converted by the body into usable energy. It is the body’s most preferred energy source.
Insulin – Insulin is manufactured by the body to process the glucose.
