About this ebook

A collection of poems about a subject which is too taboo to write about. Yet, it can be defined in different ways and affects people in different ways. We all have something to learn from failures, whether they are ours or someone else’s.

I'm a strange and unusual writer/graphic designer who writes mainly in the urban fantasy/science fiction genres about people who come in different shapes, sizes and colors and may not all be heterosexual.

    Failure

    Ali Noel Vyain

This is a work of fiction. Names, characters, places, and incidents either are the product of the author’s imagination or are used fictitiously. Any resemblance to actual persons, living or dead, events, or locales is entirely coincidental.

    Definitions

    Taboo

    No one

    wants

    to talk

    about it.

    They’d

    rather

    ignore it

    unless

    they can

    make fun

    of someone else.

    But never

    do they

    want

    to discuss

    their own

    failures.

    But we all

    have something

    to learn

    from failure.

    We need

    to discuss it

    in a time

    when everything

    has gone

    very wrong.

    Definitions

    Words

    can be

    so slippery.

    They must be

    defined,

    but many

    fail to do so.

    They just assume

    we all use

    the exact

    same definitions

    of the same words.

    They missed the point.

    I know from

    all the writing

    I’ve done,

    that there are

    more definitions

    and interpretations

    than those people

    want to even see.

    It’s a failure

    to grow

    and learn

    new things.

    Perhaps

    they could

    find solutions

    if they just looked

    or listened better

    to others.

    Reality

    Can be

    many things

    to many different

    people.

    We don’t

    all see

    the world

    in the exact

    same way.

    Is that

    a failure?
