Pen Names are useful for separating the part of me that needs the day job and paycheck from the naughty fun of writing fiction. Between my day job and dyslexia, writing has been a challenge but you cannot keep a good story down. I hope you enjoy the stories. If you do, tell everyone, if you do not, tell me at the contact information in the book. Free access codes for the first Angry Brothers based story, the rest have a small honorarium though from time to time there are free. The Angry Brothers is a free show that can be found on YouTube and in many other places.Hidden in my stories are actual science facts, as well as a mystery or two when I can. I always try to keep the elements of a good story, A little religion, a royal figure, a little sex (sometimes a lot), and a mystery. This makes the shortest story that meets these requirements is, "Good God, the Queen is pregnant; who did it?"I hope the readers like my stories enough to come back for more and, better yet give favorable recommendations to their friends. Please check out my newest website http://www.ashnomdeplume.com to get more detail on books. If you are interested in proofreading or commenting on a galley copy let me know. It is all good fun and I do enjoy honest feedback even when it is you missed this error.Ash

Chapter 1
Mondays suck and this one more so than most. To start with, I am not waking up in my section 8 studio apartment, with second hand rent-to-own furniture and mattress on the floor. The last thing I remember was being out of generic nighttime cold medicine, which is usually good for about 3 to 4 hours of sleep. Four shots of tequila or too-kill-a later I was at least heading off to bed to a little needed shut eye. My friend Louis was finishing up some third-rate horror movie from an online TV station Ultra Toxic TV, with some comic interruptions by the Angry Brothers Shock O Rama, which was some sort of a plot to steal Ash’s, of the humongous TITS and eye candy, clothes. Otherwise, they were showing a Vincent Price movie, which is usually the top end of the quality, from there, the Grindhouse movies go downhill.
I had expected to be awake at my usual 4 a.m. to pretend to get back to sleep until 7 a.m., then break down and walk to the community center for a free breakfast, and to attempt to motivate myself to polish my homework for my 10 a.m. class a couple of blocks away. Then after looking at all the woman running around town as I walked home and then, try some more online coding course work, in hopes of getting some job skills. This English class that I need for university admission has me bored to tears with diagramming sentences and tomorrow was the final exam.
Instead, it looks to be 5 a.m. and I am waking up with a hell of a hangover, in an institutional bed, with the monkey bars to keep you from falling out, and closed door with a slit window with the wire mess. Cottonmouth, and waking up in a clinic of some sort, was not my plan. I am not much of a drinker, so Whisky Tango Foxtrot is about all I can think of, as long as I do it quietly. The dreams from hell I had all night did not help my mood, which means I did not get a good night’s sleep, and cream chipped beef and omelet served by Glenna at the community center is not a happening thing. Being a starving Marvin at this point is not helping. I don’t see a toilet in the room either, this is not a good
