Introduction
Communication is a very interesting topic to discuss regardless of any present generation. It is ironic, however, that we are creatures born with the ability to verbally communicate with words, but we still fail to communicate properly among each other.
What’s worse, with the ever-changing society that is constantly producing results for better technology, our communication and human interaction have been greatly diminished.
Although communication is vital for any business or social interaction, the communication barrier between individuals have become thicker through time.
Nowadays, if people wanted to speak with each other, a simple phone dial or text message will do the job for them. There is no longer a reason for people to physically meet up and chat when it takes them less than a minute to communicate wirelessly.
The main issue, of course, is the fact that the quality of communication has greatly died down. Because people are no longer making the effort to communicate face-to-face, they are not used to it when the situation arises. That is why some people fear public speaking, or socializing in general.
It is always easier to speak indirectly with someone than to speak directly to them. If you are not used to communicating with others directly then you will stutter. You will say the wrong thing at the wrong time. People will hate you depending on what you say and people will like you depending on how you make them feel at the end of each conversation.
If you are a poor conversationalist then you’re most likely going to receive negative results at the end of your conversation.
So what this book is going to help you with is your overall communication skill. You want to know how to talk better with people. You want them to like talking to you, or at least feel great after speaking with you.
You want to use your communication skills to the best of your abilities. What’s important is that no matter where you are at in the world, communication will always be the same. It will work the same way regardless of the language. So what are we going to cover in this book?
We’re going to take a look at the basis of communication: how you can learn and what you would need to do. In addition, we’ll also be talking about how to avoid the negative aspects
