This wasn’t a normal part of her job. Technically, she wasn’t supposed to interact with the beta testing programs, but they were understaffed. There wasn’t anyone for them to send out on a call like this, so they’d roped her into it. It was her territory after all, and she had more technical qualifications than anyone else in her department. She should be able to ask a tester some questions, find out what the problem was.

After she knocked, it took a couple of minutes for the door to open. The figure revealed was lanky and awkward, with thin limbs and ill fitting clothes.
