    Bread cut in crescents

    Toast crescents on one side. Edge the untoasted side with strips of pimiento. Next to the pimiento place a row of the tiny onions. Fill center with the caviar slightly cut with lemon juice.

    CURLICUE

    Grated American cheese

    Worcestershire sauce

    Butter

    Mustard

    Salt

    Mix half a pound of sharp American cheese with one-fourth pound creamed dairy butter. Season with Worcestershire, mustard, and salt. Cut slices of bread lengthwise from the loaf. Remove crust and spread with the cheese mixture. Roll carefully, beginning on the long side of the bread. Wrap roll tightly in a slightly dampened napkin for at least an hour. Then cut in three-quarter inch slices. Toast on both sides in a hot oven and serve
