About this ebook
A mentalist is a magician of the mind. And like a good magician he/she creates a sense of wonder, amazement and awe in an audience. A good Mentalist also wants to evoke a sense of fun as well as a sense of mystery. A mentalist – like a magician, seeks to take his audience into the world of imagination and leave them in a place of astonishment and wonder, where explanations run out . It is a marvelous place where all things seem possible.
In this book you will learn some world class “impromptu” mindreading. All you will need for most of these devastating routines is a pen/pencil and a few business cards or pieces of paper. In a sense this is the “Real McCoy” – no props – just you and your “abilities”. There is one routine with a couple of books, ordinary books that you can put to use any time or place and one involving a watch.
What lies herein are Professional and stunning demonstrations of mentalism from the authors own repertoire from over 30 years of experience on both sides of the Atlantic. He is aware that most publications on the subject for the general public often offer weak routines designed for the amateur. What is offered here – as in How to be a Mentalist – (1 2 and 3) and his other publications In Mind, Time Flies and his series McCoy’s Miracles - are super strong routines of a professional nature which are usually marketed by magic dealers for very high prices.
EVERY ROUTINE IN THIS BOOK WILL ALSO BE SHOWN ON VIDEO WITH AN ONLINE LINK– so as well as reading this revolutionary material – you will also have access to live performances and explanations. In essence – you are getting a free dvd!
This publication is probably the most exciting of the series. Why? Because you can achieve astounding results –truly great mentalism with just a pen, a few business cards and some pieces of paper. Impromptu, professional and world class.

Triple Coincidence
An incredible piece of mentalism using random numbers chosen by three spectators.
Three totals from three spectators inexplicably match. Whatsmore the mentalist had predicted this before the numbers were chosen!
Billet Mind Reading
A masterclass in gleaning information from folded business cards/paper. A spectator thinks of a celebrity. After some thought the mentalist is able to describe information about the thought of celebrity – and eventually name them - to everyone’s amazement.
Holiday Destination
After a spectator writes various holiday destinations on separate cards the mentalist is able to eliminate all but the favourite destination. Finally after some thought he describes the destination in detail – finally revealing the actual place.
Mental Meal
A neat mental miracle for the restaurant – whereby the mentalist correctly identifies three chosen meals
Wonder words
Using two borrowed books the mentalist is able to tell spectators the words they are merely thinking of. Two complete routines with different methods.
Fourth Dimension
A spectator thinks of a time associated with an event. Another spectator blindly winds a watch to a random time. The mentalist reveals the time and even names the event associated with it. Finally the second spectator turns over his watch. He has wound it to the exact same time.

About the Author
Introduction
I mentioned in the first two books of this series that the definition given by the American television show The Mentalist-("Someone who uses mental acuity, hypnosis and/or suggestion. A master manipulator of thought and behavior") is a good, if incomplete definition.
I might add here that the definition has a somewhat sinister aspect which will not do at all. Yes we do manipulate thoughts and behaviour – but we do so to entertain. Far from being sinister – a mentalist – who is essentially a magician of the mind – wants to evoke a sense of fun as well as a sense of mystery. A mentalist – like a magician, seeks to take his audience into the world of imagination and leave them in a place of astonishment and wonder, where explanations run out . It is a marvelous place where all things seem possible.
In this book you will learn some world class impromptu
mindreading. All you will need for most of these devastating routines is a pen/pencil and a few business cards or pieces of paper. In a sense this is the Real McCoy
(ahem) – no props not even playing cards - just you and your abilities
. There is one routine with a couple of books, ordinary books that you can put to use any time or place and one involving a watch.
Imagine holding a spectators hand. The spectator is merely thinking of someone they know - and a place associated with that person. You slowly start talking about this person guessing correctly how they are related, their sex and their hair colour. Everyone is very impressed. But then you say – next time you are in New Zealand – can you say hello to Colleen for me
. This evokes screams of amazement.
This is one of the routines in this book/video download. In other routines you will predict numbers spectators freely choose, you will be able to discern the time someone is thinking of, the words people have chosen from books, the favourite holiday/vacation destination of a spectator. You will also be able to draw a picture that a spectator has drawn without apparently seeing it.
What lies herein are Professional and stunning demonstrations of mentalism from the authors own repertoire from over 30 years of experience. He is
