Introduction
Welcome to the 1st day of a new beginning for you. The decision you made to become a better you is something to cheer about. It is not easy to transform your thoughts and transition your life in the direction that will cause you to walk away from the pull
matters have…it can be done. If you are your worse enemy, your own worst critic… it is time to be your own best cheerleader. No need to fret… we are all in the same boat. If we are all going to get to shore, we must row together. Indeed, life has its challenges. They come to keep us on our toes. This is sort of a check and balance type of thing.
I am compelled to believe, in order for us to live the way God wants us to solely hinge on the art of understanding God’s heart and imitating His concern and compassion for others. When we are in tune with and responsive to His heart, we will turn to Him. When faced with uncertainty we tend to seek counsel of others and allow grief to usher us into bitterness, depression or resentment and anger.
Life is filled with many challenges, some have deemed as fair while others hold on to their convictions of believing it’s unfair. If viewed through the wrong lenses, it ushers in anger toward others or toward God. The question, how could God allow this…,
why did this happen to me…, so and so did this and nothing happen to them….Regardless of the ammunition, the issue at hand is how the individual handles the matter at hand. We should not be quick to compare our situation to others. I am not suggesting that it is wrong, however, its can be unhealthy to our well being. I’ve heard many people declare in frustration how they
live right so things should pan out. What does
live right mean? The matters of the heart are subject to our thought life which is very crucial to how we will
cope" with the others players on the playing field.
Everything in life has a purpose. This material is purposed to help you discover the mystery and definition of anger, its meaning to us, its position in our lives and how it should be managed so that it does not completely take over every facet of life. I wish to assist you to the land of peace where there is healing and growth. My desire is for you to heal in those areas that once riddled you while advancing beyond your previous state before you dealt with anger issues. There will be some dealing with the mind while dwelling in patience; remaining calm, untroubled and learning to love and respect those who may have wronged you in some way. If we really want to be free of and over and done with the enemy of our minds, we need to uproot our own anger. Wow, sounds like a lot but it can be done, one day at a time, one step at a time.
It does not matter if you take a little longer than others to get it.
You might have to tell your self a hundred times before time 101 is enough… be done with it. Vent if you must… cry if necessary but don’t quit. In this journey of life you will find every reservoir God has planned for you if don’t give up on His direction.
God does not view His children as raving lunatics who He is tired of providing guidance and direction. He is a loving and caring Father who walks with you every step of the way. Yes, even when we are doing things that may seem not so wise.
We often miss or ignore the intuitive leads that come. We will make mistakes in life, which is why we need to consult God for directions on a matter.
People get angry for a number of reasons and often feel justified in feeling that way. If the facts are first viewed through the lenses of wisdom, maybe the realization of being a bit hasty in our response could come in view. Age and experience does not always guarantee a person will have wisdom. With a constant repeat of scenarios one could hope for wisdom, knowledge, discipline and understanding, but if the information and experience was not internalized and evaluated through God’s word then… probably not. The cycle continues. Can it then be assumed that anger is forthright?
Some things should have never been acceptable to us in the first place. For whenever a person chose to deal with or put up with a matter for any length of time varies from one individual to the next. Since we can’t really make a person do anything, what do we do when our desires are not met? Who is really the blame? Life is filled with disappointments. Just because a person does not see or think the way you do, does not make either person wrong. When things don’t go as well as we hope, the only logical question left is what do you plan to do? Regardless of what has happened or did not happen, we must accept the here and now, find peace with whatever decision that has to be made. Hopefully, the best decision for you is made after all, you’re the one angry. Hurt feelings are symptoms associated with anger, not the cause.
Granted some situation calls for us to be furious, but for how long are we willing to stay that way? None of those situations will be discussed in this piece and I pray you will never have to face a traumatic situation that will cause you to loose absolute control of your self.
Anyway, I urge you to hold on. Let’s take the journey together. Don’t cheat by skipping to the chapters that interest you most. Read it all.
I must warn you that most things I see and say is from the condition of my plight as a woman, middle-classed and reside in the United States. But, that does not make my thoughts the standard
of living for man kind. I have grown, known, and developed my self with the help of the Lord to give insight, provide wisdom and counsel to many who seek inner peace. I believe, it has nothing to do with finding yourself
… it’s about knowing, being, feeling and shaking off unrealistic fears and unhealthy expectations we have of ourselves and others. These elements help us to live free… help us to thrive, to soar to the Creator
for a change not the creature someone thought we should be.
The truth about this book… it
