Inner Healing

Psalm 34:18

The LORD is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit.

At some point in our lives, we all go through experiences such as heartbreaks, disappointments, and loss. For some, these experiences can be overwhelming. Bad decisions have been known to cause suffering in people's lives. I am one of those individuals who have made numerous decisions that have led to disappointment, discouragement, and even a broken heart.

Heartache is not always the result of our own mistakes. It can be caused by the loss of loved ones, the end of marriages, or the traumatic experiences of our children. We all experience similar emotions when we feel pain, and if we don't address it, it can grow into a deep-rooted bitterness. This bitterness can then spread to other areas of our lives, hindering our progress. Thus, it is important to heal from past hurts in order to move forward without any baggage.

If someone has experienced heartbreak from a previous relationship, it may be difficult for them to find happiness in new relationships until they deal with their emotional pain. Unresolved emotional pain can affect their ability to form healthy connections with others. Those who do not address their emotional wounds may encounter difficulties in maintaining healthy relationships. But we forget that our LORD is loving and kind according to Psalm 149:4 NASB For the Lord takes pleasure in His people; He will glorify the lowly with salvation.
