As you grow up you may want to settle down early with one partner. While people date for different reasons, serious dating involves looking for a soul mate and you will wait for the right man if that’s what you want. This means you will have to date many times with different men before finding the right one. So prudence and patience should be your two bedfellows. You can easily make either a good choice or a poor choice in dating and courtship. If you date a man you think you might like, avoid assumptions. Just because he is the one who asked you out, you shouldn’t assume (as many girls in reality do) he is the one who is perusing you and therefore you are going to leave the whole time to him to wear down your defenses.
If he is interested in a serious relationship he would certainly be keen to know you better before he commits himself. So you can’t afford to be passive. But you should start at a neutral point without seeing him as a potential boyfriend or husband. Get to know him first too. After introduction you will want to know something about his life. Then it is absolutely necessary you establish early enough whether he is ready for what you want. This means you should also be absolutely clear about what you want from your date. Be that as
