    Dear Readers,

    What is bravery?

    Yes, I know that is not at all how I usually start off one of my editorials, but it is a question I’ve been asking myself lately, and one that comes up in many of this issue’s stories.

    What is bravery? Is it fearlessness? The knowledge that nothing can hurt you and that the phantoms other people fear actually have no power? I don’t think so. How is it brave to exist in a world with no danger, and no risk?

    Fine, then. Perhaps being brave is about being foolhardy, and rushing off in search of that same danger and risk. And yet, there is a reason that the word fool is the first part of foolhardy. Fear is a warning that something is wrong, and simply ignoring that
