The Simple Way

About this ebook
The older we grow, the further many of us seem to travel from our truest selves. Sometimes we travel so far, and become so disconnected, that re-discovering the early, unaffected version of ourselves seems almost impossible. But there is a way. And it can be a simple way. In this short, powerful collection of life changing concepts from new author Cameron Guymer, you will discover a pathway back to yourself, and open the door to the incredibly liberating, but often hidden truths, within you.
How wonderful it would be, if from our first days our parents intuitively nurtured those unique inclinations within each of us which we naturally prefer, protecting us from the external forces that make us stray from our innate paths. Those few who experience this, and who learn how to carry this mantle for themselves into adulthood, are fortunate indeed to have received this gift. They travel the shorter road to happiness. For the rest, suffering and its lessons requires a longer road. “For these people,” writes Cameron Guymer, “I have outlined The Simple Way that returns us to ourselves”.

The Simple Way - Cameron Guymer
Preface
How wonderful it would be, if from our first days our parents intuitively nurtured those unique inclinations within each of us which we naturally prefer, protecting us from the external forces that make us stray from our innate paths.
Those few who experience this, and who learn how to carry this mantle for themselves into adulthood, are fortunate indeed to have received this gift. They travel the shorter road to happiness.
For the rest, suffering and its lessons, follow naturally the path of a longer road. For these people I have outlined The Simple Way that returns us to ourselves.
Chapter 1
Happiness
1.
Happiness is the power
Which favours the brave
To deflect Harm
And embrace Goodness
2.
Goodness is that
Which you most cherish
Within yourself
3.
That which you most cherish are the
Ideas
Thoughts
Pursuits and actions
That fill you with joy
4.
Harm is that
Which takes you too far away
From what you most cherish
Within yourself
5.
