    This is half the battle of quitting smoking. You MUST be ready, and I can't stress this enough, YOU MUST BE READY TO QUIT!

    It has to be the most important thing in your life. If it's not, then your chances of successfully quitting are slim.

    If your heart is not in it, you'll fail.

    It must be your #1 priority in life.

    Oh, it's raining and crappy outside, I should smoke. I missed the bus, I should smoke. My favorite song is on the radio, I should smoke.

    Sound familiar?

    You have to be willing to do whatever it takes to quit. If it means not doing anything for a month, then so be it.

    You can't go to the bars, you can't hangout with friends who smoke, and you have to take it minute by minute.

    In the long scheme of things, one month is nothing, and it's definitely worth it.
