About this audiobook

Welcome to Kennedy Fox Bedtime Reads! Steamy love stories you can listen to in one sitting! After everyone goes to bed for the night, snuggle up with a Kennedy Fox Bedtime Read! These are fast-paced, full-length standalone novels that are filled with humor and insta-lust, but still have everything you love about a Kennedy Fox book.

Never trust a man who answers the front door wearing nothing more than a pair of low-cut jeans and a panty-melting smirk. That should've been my first sign. I write about guys just like him for a living - sexy and charming, yet reluctant to get into a serious relationship. His body screams sex appeal, but his condescending personality makes him a classic f--kboy. And I want nothing to do with that.

Writing romance novels comes with its perks - traveling, meeting new people, creating characters from the voices in my head - but Ethan Rochester enters my life and rearranges all my preconceived notions about writing what inspires you. One week is all it took. One week to realize that not everything is as it seems.

One week with the bad boy, and I wanted more.

This story became more tolerable as it went on.

From the get-go of Vada arriving at this quaint holiday home where she can clear her mind of all the background noise, Ethan is cracking out the sexual innuendos. Not in a smooth way either, it's all very cringe and Vada jumps on them all very dramatically.

It was nice to see Ethan peel back the layers of his grumpy personality and see why he has turned into this unsociable human being. Vada sought her way into all his cracks and he let her into some of his most precious memories. I preferred Ethan's back story to Vada's as it felt more established to the storyline itself whereas Vada's was put in there later on in the story.

As the story progressed there were times when it felt rushed as Vada started referring to a chunk of their relationship in the past tense, which was their main conflict and resolution stage. I would have liked to have been more involved in this stage as a reader.

one star..Thought the book may have potential because Joe Arden co-narrated it. Nope..i don’t like the story. One of the many reasons i enjoy Scribd is that,if I download an audiobook like this one
then realize i don’t like it, at least I haven’t bought the book. I’m not fast forwarding to the ending because i do not care how it ends.
