Well, Adele Shape is like a dog with bone, and she has done e what many were not able to do by biting the hunter in its own game. She got very close, and she also was foolish not to have help. It got the spade killer to get away from now he has gone into hiding. After their recent case, she got the will to open the package and learn the gift her mentor left her. Now she has accepted that by surroundings herself with friends and with help, she has a better chance to get this killer.
Now she is remembering the thing her mentor thought her about investigation. Trusting her instincts when working a case!
