2.75 Stars for me!

While I like the stories, I cannot stand the MC. She has a huge superiority complex and looks down on the regular police force. She spent her time (mentoring without putting in any effort) a young upstart FBI agent. When she brought in a 'suspect' for questioning, even though there was zero evidence, it was OK but when the young upstart did the same thing, she roasted him.

I wish the author would have his agents follow rules of evidence and standard police procedures... Maybe the next series? ?

This is new for Laura Frost. The FBI agent is to take on another agent as a partner in another case. But this time, the new agent in question is new I to the FBI. I just completed the academy without experience. She is to become his mentor and they start off on level that she did not like him and as they work he was not taking advice nor listen as he is ment to be as one who is been mentored. This almost caused her her life, but in the end, she was able to bring him on her side.
It took him almost losing his life for him to actually learn something from real-life case.
