It was a very rough case for both agents Jack Rivers and Rachel Gift on this case, which involved the governor daughter and many more others who were killed by their own friend. The way the bodies and casket were discovered by the construction worker on a new site. Began the whole case and one by one as they start looking at different construction site more coffee was discovered. Letter on led them to the killer who did not want to cooperate with FBI and the local police.
After the case, both Rachel Gift and Jack Rivers came back home they went straight to the head office, trying to clean up since they were digging for bodies, the last victim who survived. But who was waiting for both of them was Alex Lynch who has succeeded in taking Jack by surprise but as Rachel was about to leave she hears sound that led her into the male bedroom where she fought for their lives and end up, killing Alex Lynch.
I will be looking forward to learning what becomes of Rachel and Jack's relationship and what the writer had in store for them both. How will the cancer diagnosis treatment turn out for Rachel.

I would love to be able to give the book a review but the narration, once again, is so awful and miss-cast that I couldn't bear to listen to it. Very disappointed!
