It was a good one to read before Halloween and it was a quick read. I t was a little light on ending the story which I think cut to much from the rest of the book.
Deputy Sheriff, May Moore, has always felt that her FBI agent sister always gets more attention from her parents for solving any case that comes up. May and her sister actually seem to be getting closer as they try to dig into the cold case of their missing younger sister. Now a serial killer is on the loose in May's county and she and her partner, Owen, really come through on this one without very much help from the FBI. Great read!

Same book. Seventh iteration. Try the same characters with a completely original story line and plot. Serial killer, three red herrings, at least one suspect has to be chased down, two deaths, cops separated and heroine of course ends up in a battle for her life and the last victim.
