About this audiobook

He has a beastly instinct to devour everything in his path ... until her.

I am the giant, menacing monster, known only as the Beast.

Sold to the mafia as a kid and trained to hunt, my life revolves around brutality and carnage.

My home is a cell made of concrete and iron bars.

And there is nothing I won't do to be free.

Until her.

The innocent black-haired girl with pretty pink lips, whose father I was supposed to hunt, dares to get in my way.

But when I grab her and look into her eyes, I can't bring myself to finish the job.

She makes me feel hope. Greed.

And a frenzied desire to touch her.

Taste her.

Make her mine.

I was supposed to destroy everything in my path.

Instead, I took her ... and consumed her whole.

I was not a fan of the narrator, she pronounced a lot of words wrong, specifically "hover" . It drove me nuts.
The writing was ok, i felt like we didn't get a real good feel for what was going on, it was too fast and not enough detail.
Not going to listen to the rest of the series.

Nice enough reading, but the FMC is so fragile and innocent, totally not my cup of tea. For me, the main characters could be more relatable.

Couldn't tell whether the girl was 8 or 28. I might have missed it but her voice was infantilized despite the intellect she sometimes used.
Was the beast had a very wide vocabulary for someone who didn't know what "friend" meant.
I couldn't get myself to keep listening.

Omgggggggggg, this heroine was painful, the beast character getting shot yet never dies is so unbelievable it laughable.

    DNF

I tried to hang in there, but the narrator is just awful. "Sexy" scenes just made me cringe because the narrator seemed to turn into a young minor child's voice for these events and I felt like I was listening to a pedo and their victim. Not my cup of tea.

    So good!
I loved him, I liked his soft inside and innocence over him, facing all the bad. And I liked that kind of unhuman thing going on, almost like superpowers.

Though I hate when you can't find the next books. Why share only a part of a series?

The premise of the story was fascinating and the character development had so much potential. However, there were certain scenes that just seemed unnecessarily grim?. It ends on a suspense filled cliffhanger can't wait to see what happens next.

Story was okay. The narration was also okay too until she used this squeaky child-like voice for the main character during intense scenes. This book is a little “spicy” and a child’s voice was off putting to say the least.

Repetitive. Annoying af lead female character. Narrator made it worse by sounding so whiny… It was like listening to a five year old child that wouldn’t shut up.
