Very enjoyable, fast-paced read. I generally figure out who dunnit early on but this time I had to work for it! Lots of red herrings and action. Excellent narration.

From the moment I found out that Laila the main character was a former Mossad agent I wanted to read this story. Laila Rabbinowitz is hired to protect billionaire Preston Whittaker when he steps up to fill the role of CEO of his father's company after his father and brother are killed. This story was action from the very beginning with someone trying to kill Preston at the funeral and escalates throughout each chapter. There is a long list of suspects and throughout the story Laila and Preston must learn to trust each other and overcome their pasts to trust God to get them through this. I have to say this is my favorite book out of the Elite Guardians Collection. I couldn't put it down.
