About this audiobook
USA Today bestselling author Leslie Pike delivers a delightful romance centering on an athlete and the object of his affection—a single mother.
Memphis Mavericks catcher Atticus Swift has game. On the field and off. Things and people come easy to the baseball player.
Then why is the woman across the room ignoring him?
Single mother Charlotte Bay is one minded. Focus is on daughter, Mallory, who bears emotional and physical scars of the past.
Love, romance, or even male attention is not on the radar.
Sometimes life throws you a perfect curveball.

Reviews for The Curve

- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Curve is a true 4.5! My first book by Leslie Pike, and it was a pleasant surprise! I’m pretty picky about books…contemporary romance, first person, engaging storyline with some substance, well-developed characters, steamy within the context of a relationship, likable main characters, low angst, HEA, and excellent narration. Curve hit it out of the park in all of these! With single mom/sports tropes, Curve included other wonderful gems…positive family experiences, learning to cope with difficult situations, and a hero who is sweet and thoughtful. Curve was well-crafted given the length of the story and the ending brought happy tears!
Of course, Maxine Mitchell and Joe Arden are among the best vocal performers! I highly recommend.
