      This book threw me, in a good unexpected way. This book had a lot more deep emotion than I was expecting. It gave me a lot of feels. I would not call this a high school bully romance, even though there are some semi bullying moments, I feel like it is just more of a high school angst and emotional brother's best friend journey. I usually don't go into deep heavy emotional books, but this cleansed my palate in a good way and was refreshing at the time.

      As hard as it was to read at times because I felt the overwhelming emotion from the fmc, I did enjoy seeing how she developed and was able to find herself and her way to live again without her brother. She was able to heal herself and those around her, while discovering how her relationships change and develop. I do recommend this book because it surprised me, but be prepared for an emotional roller coaster for sure!
