About this audiobook

First comes love, then comes roommates, then comes friends with benefits...are they doing this right?

Soccer player Rose Olivieri has held a flame for goalkeeper Cassie Dickinson for years. To shake off her feelings, Rose invites Cassie, a recent divorcee, to be her roommate. Proximity should douse the romance, right?

Cassie, scarred by two failed marriages, is done with love. Yet, she misses the thrill of going out. Rose proposes a platonic dating experiment. But casual fun and great talks stir unexpected chemistry.

Their plan escalates to friends-with-benefits, unplanned but thrilling. Cassie's convinced she won't fall again, while Rose aims to guard her heart. Will they realize they're a winning team both on and off the field?

Liz Lincoln

Liz has been concocting stories as long as she can remember, and from the beginning they involved two people falling in love. When she's not writing, she spends her time rooting for the UW Badgers and the Green Bay Packers (or yearning for the return of football season), cross-stitching and embroidering sassy sayings or nerdy characters (Wonder Woman is her favorite), and drinking too much Diet Coke. She lives in Milwaukee, WI, with her husband, two kids, two cats, and a turtle.

While this LGBT story was decent, the lack of communication between the roommates on true feelings was annoying. This was my favorite of the three books on this app for this series.

The description of this book seems to be wrong. This is an LGBTQ best friend to lovers romance soccer story between two females. Narration was good. Enjoyable listen.
