About this audiobook
Sebastian Prescott once had it all. A promising career as an Olympic-bound snowboarder, money, and a bright future. But a devastating knee injury sent him on a decade-long downward spiral, capped off by losing his prestigious job. And Sebastian places the blame for getting fired entirely on the shoulders of Kayla Bristowe, the woman who worked directly under him—and the subject of his fantasies.
Three years later, Kayla is shocked to come face to face with Sebastian, who's now working as a snowboarding instructor at the resort hosting her corporate retreat. His anger over what happened is palpable. So is the chemistry still sizzling between them. Chemistry that Kayla tries desperately to ignore because she's on the hunt for Mr. Perfect. And while Sebastian is a lot of things--sexy, arrogant, and a walking train wreck come to mind--her ex-boss is most definitely not Mr. Perfect.
But mother nature has other plans, and Kayla and Sebastian end up snowed in together with only one bed. Alone with Kayla, Sebastian's fantasies come roaring back to life, despite the lingering animosity between them. And he's not her boss anymore. At least, not out of bed...

- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5The story was okay and steamy, but the narrator drove me crazy. Such a weird, creepy voice for some of the characters.
- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5voice over was terrible making the Story worse then it is
- Rating: 2 out of 5 stars2/5The narrator is so bad! You can't even concentrate on the story, did they try to do this as poorly as possible?!
- Rating: 1 out of 5 stars1/5Can't make it past chapter 1 with this narrator, sadly.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5The narrator almost ruined the book for me. I liked the story.
- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/52.5 Stars for me!
This was going to be a 4 Star story for me but the last hour was so much repetitive self-loathing, woe with me that I nearly broke my phone and headphones trying to skip forward every time it started.
Nails on a chalkboard is less painful then listening to a person continuously beating themselves up. I know that it is a huge market but I just don't understand why.
If you like stories where the H metaphorically beats himself to a bloody pulp, you may give this 5 stars!
I did like the rest of the story. ? - Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5Good read. But the ending was so abrupt. Does he move back to NY? Do they get new jobs?
- Rating: 2 out of 5 stars2/5I just can’t listen to the reader. I will try to read this book. I love the series.
- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5The story was fine, but I did not enjoy this narrator.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5The reason for only 4 stars is the narrator dragging Bode's speach making him sound constantly high then giving Lucian a New York Italian accent very obviously different crom that of his brothers. Other than that the story was sweet.
- Rating: 2 out of 5 stars2/5The writing was average. The performance was bad. All the voices of the women characters were read Iike a bad porn scenes.
- Rating: 1 out of 5 stars1/5The story may be great however I could not listen to the annoyiny narrator!
