About this audiobook

Family can be the best ally—or the worst enemy. The saga continues in the third book in Bridget E. Baker’s Birthright Series, where trust is the ultimate political weapon.

Accept the world as it is...

Days before her eighteenth birthday, Chancery Alamecha has more to worry about than the flowers at her celebration. She’s no closer to learning who killed her mother. Her twin sister is missing, fate unknown. And she’s the new ruler of an empire with abilities she has yet to harness.

Or do something to change it…

When her first act as a merciful queen is met with resistance, Chancery realizes her mission to improve the world will be harder than expected. She’s attacked on multiple fronts, distrust simmers within her ranks, and her list of allies grows shorter by the day. But to unite the evian families and gain control of five powerful rings, the most direct path to peace may be through war…

Oh its such a good series. I hope they make a movie out of it. Really action packed full of twists and turns. Awesome.

This series is getting better with each new book. We are back with Chancery in this book. She and Judica form an alliance. Chancery shares the prophecy with the world and fireworks start. They are exposed to war and violence as they try to understand all that is happening. Interesting Arc with Noah.

The main character could not stop wining about herself. It got old real fast.

One thing I loved initially about this series is the character development and improvements over time. But this book she took 10 steps back and was exhausting to listen to.

The narrator is on my top 5 list of talented performers.

Book is awesome. I’d give it a 4.5 if I could just bc the reading seamed a bit winy and some of the lines were not logical for the brilliance of the characters but all in all it was pretty clean, it was exciting, the twists and turns were limitless, and the overall plot line is very intriguing. On to the next in the series!

We go back to Chancery’s story here, both overlapping things happening in the second book and seeing Judica returning to Chancery. I can’t get enough

I love the characters and the unexpected twists and turns in the story line. It's very unpredictable and definitely entertaining. I've been sucked in from the first book on!
