- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5This book is helpful with communication in general, not just with your partner. It is very thought-provoking and has yielded results for me, which has made everyone concerned happier and less combative!
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5This book is excellent. Although I found the techniques challenging to implement. If one can commit to using these principles, they will go a long way to offering a better relationship with your partner.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5An easy "read" and lots of ideas to improve communication when things may be getting "stale" or you just want some new ideas. Communication is key to any relationship and this shall help with getting things "started" and keep you on the path to openness and maintaining the idea of why you fell "in love" in the first place. It helps guys to "get it" and helps gals to "say it softly".

- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5I cannot say enough good things about this book. Such simple techniques that have such a huge effect. He explains why conflict starts to begin with, and offers practical, real tools to diffuse it (or avoid it to begin with). If you or your spouse tend to play the blame game when you have conflict, then this book is an absolute must read. It has changed how I think, and I feel I can actually put his advice to use, making a difference in my communication skills.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5The content of this book is easy to follow yet rich, practical and insightful. Some of the concepts can be applied to any type of relationship. I'm not married myself but I have seen plenty of old relationships that are still suffering from blames and lack of intimacy with the same root causes as described in this book.
