About this audiobook

Valerie is only as sick as her secrets…

After the death of her hated grandmother, Valerie is, for the first time in her life, really free. The house belongs to her. She should be happy. But Valerie isn’t quite normal.

She’s taking in roommates to make ends meet, but, one by one, they keep ending up dead. Her young niece is crying out for a special kind of discipline that only she can provide. And there are the voices she hears...voices that want her to do terrible things.

Valerie is only trying to survive. If she stops doing what the voices tell her, something grotesquely evil will devour her soul....

What’s wrong with Valerie?

“One of the best horror debuts I’ve come across in a long time…” (Douglas Clegg, author of Neverland)

Whoa!! This bitch makes Norman Bates look like Mother Teresa! When Valerie loses her Grandmother and inherits her home and all the belongings in it.....something triggers the abuse she went thru as a young child from her. BUT what entails after this......the gore, the cannibalism, and mutilations and horror are so WELL written! I have already ordered the 2nd and 3rd books in the series. Loved this!!!

    What a ride!
I don't have schizophrenia, and I'm not a psychopath (possibly a sociopath, but not psycho), so this was a whole new ride for me, and kept me on the edge, and always thinking "oh she's totally going to get caught now". A darkly fun read

Unique, definitely not your normal psychological thriller. Very creative and definitely well narrated. Loved the whole premiss and the characters, all of them added a level to the story that made this thing work well. Graphic in just the right spots with not too much description in the violence, gore or sex departments...more description would have put this over the moon for horror buffs . I want to read another by the author....well done.

Great story line and just enough gore to keep you reading on. Fantastic narrator.
