About this audiobook

Sara's on the run and she's found the perfect place to hide... THE CROWLANDS is the incredible new novel from rising horror star T M Creedy!

Sara Robinson – gambling addict, liar, thief – lived a hand-to-mouth existence in a dingy flat in London. Now she's running for her life after the chance to make some easy money goes horribly wrong. She has three things which might save her - a passport in someone else's name, a ticket to Australia and a suitcase full of cash. Sara finds herself the custodian of a crumbling Victorian mansion known as Crowlands House, once a children's home in the rural town of Ararat. At first, the airy property seems cool and welcoming in the harsh Australian sunlight. It's a private haven where Sara can forget about what happened in London. But there are things in the house that aren't quite right. And Sara can't ignore them forever.

Wonderfully intricate ghost story. Not all ghosts are there to do you harm. Some ghosts are looking for someone to play with or are looking to escape or are just there to help. That doesn’t mean you shouldn’t be afraid

A young woman on the run to save her life finds herself called upon to right some historical wrongs and bring justice to the victims of both aboriginal abuse and domestic violence. Seriously, there's decades of wrongdoing going unpunished here, not that that's surprising. The ending felt a little rushed but it is satisfying.

Very good story. I wouldn't say it was very scary. It was really more heartwarming.
