Some people will stop at nothing to get what they want…

Formerly homeless hustler Bianca Thomson-Wingarden had it all planned out. She found a rich man to get her pregnant and marry so she could give her child a lavish life of financial security she'd carefully prepared for.

She and her new husband Elvin Wingarden III, heir to the Wingarden billion-dollar dynasty, have the perfect life. They split their time between their upscale condo in the city and their lavish 17-bedroom mansion in the country. They drive the latest luxury vehicles. They don't have to worry about money and she can shower their daughter Evie, their little dog, and their friends with everything they desire.

The trouble is, their perfect life is about to fall apart. Elvin is no longer the charming man she married. And when Elvin's mother decides to hire the mysterious Penny as a live-in nanny to help take care of little Evie, everything starts going wrong in Bianca's life. She gets a terrible suspicion that the new nanny is there to replace her. And why does that nanny look so familiar?

A thrilling suspense filled with dark family secrets, popularity contests, and deception.

It is only so many times .. one can hear “she was going to get back her money “. I had to stop listening after few chapters!

Despite a twist ending, which honestly came out of nowhere, this book is pretty dull. And repetitive. How many times did I need to hear “Penny had to get her money back” or the phrase “goal-digger?”

If you want to read a book that repeats rich gold digging, get knocked up wife along with a get even fake nanny for 18 chapters then by all means listen to this book.

The narrator was great….she only read the book did not write it!!! This was the worst audiobook I had ever listen to…… Full of non-essential details. The repetitiveness in this story is mind blowing. This book should’ve been called I’m going to get my money. Do not waste your time… Skip

    Where do I start??

The narration was annoying to say the least. The story line was REDUNDANT AF.

Yes, there is a surprising twist at the end, but it’s just not worth the painstaking effort to get there

Couldn’t make it all the way through. It was so repetitive that I just couldn’t take it anymore.

I wonder how many times a book can say the word money, bitch stole my money, I’m gonna get my money back, or her money. The writing was repetitive and not that interesting. This story could have been so much better.

This may have been the worst book I have ever read and the editing was horrible. I've never written a bad review for a book, but this one was too bad to ignore.

If I could rate this book a half of a star, I would! I believe a third grader could’ve written this book better! Pure stupid rubbish! So happy that I stopped listening at about chapter 10 and looked at the other reviews and realized that everyone else feels the same about this ridiculous book. Lol.

    It felt extremely repetitive
I kept thinking I went back a chapter because the same things were repeated so often!!!! Also the narrator accent was confusing ?

The use of “Money, money, money” when they finally revealed the plot twist was VERY annoying.

I don't usually take time to write reviews, but this book was ridiculous. The same lines, plots and story over and over! And then over and over and..well you get the picture. It's like a 5th grader wrote it!

I wouldn’t say it was a psychological thriller. I am really not sure what accent the narrator was trying to pull off, but it was wonky. Definitely not Canadian.

Was this written by Michael Gary Scott? Such a silly story!! Maybe I’m too picky but I am so distracted by the (terrible) accents! Are they British? Half American and half bad English accent, the fortune in dollars and not pounds.. And if you’re going to narrate a book you should pronounce words correctly like Givenchy and Hermès. Not to mention, the family name, she pronounces WING-arden instead of WIN-garden.

Don't make a drinking game out of how many times "she was going to get her money back" is repeated, you'll die from alcohol poisoning!

They go on and on about the same stuff unnecessarily, I even started to believe there was a glitch on my phone from all the repeation. This should have been an hour listen at best. Not worth it. Skip.

Even though I felt I didn't want to finish listening to this book I did and then I understood why the phrase 'I'm going to get my money back' was annoyingly repeated like a mantra in every single chapter, that's the only reward I got from persevering. The story is boring going on and on and on about how rich they are but with not much actual story, yes there is a twist but truly it's not worth it. A lot of the story is repeated in later chapters which made me think I had a glitch on my phone and that it had jumped back chapter's. It most certainly is NOT a gripping thriller, its just a story that could honestly have been told in five chapters... I won't be reading the next one.... I couldn't bear it!

The author repeats the same words and phrases entirely too much. I'm not sure of why she didn't realize this before publishing. The story line was interesting but should have been shortened. The repetition was quite annoying, but I'm trying to get to the end..

The word money was mentioned about a thousand times.

Terrible plot, terrible writing. I started it on recommendation, as a “good read” but it is too silly for words.

A good twist but book in general was annoying as things was repeated again and again and again. There was a moment that I thought I will go through and count how many times some phrases was repeated. Definitely will not rush for another book of this author, not now.

This book would have been better if there were not the nearly constant reminder that she would get her money back, the rose tattoo and Bianca was bad and would pay all the money back that she had stolen from her. Ad infinitum.

Quite the convoluted . The book was OK but far from the best thing I have read recently.

This was absolutely terrible! Poorly written with phrases repeated over and over again such as “she liked to think of herself as a goal digger, not a gold digger”.
Not much of a twist, and hardly what I would call a psychological thriller. I don’t understand how there were so many good reviews?

One of the worst books I ever read. I just finished it to know the plot. Boring repetitions throughout the book. Don’t waste your time.

The ending was a bit predictable but the twists were 'twisted'. There were some drawn out/repetitive narrations but a good story overall.
