About this audiobook
From a multi-USA Today and Wall Street Journal bestselling author comes this romantasy (romantic fantasy), the final in a 6-book series.
“I loved every single page!!”
“A terrific ending to a wonderful story.”
“I read the entire series in one week because the stories were so spellbinding.”
In this stunning conclusion to the AFTER THE RIFT series, Josie and her friends return home to find Glancia on the brink of war and their enemies in power. With political machinations and court intrigue bringing danger at every turn, they must be careful who they trust. But being careful won’t bring resolutions. It won’t bring back lost memories or stop the kingdom hurtling towards disaster.
At the heart of it all is the magic that stole the memories of so many. The magic that everyone from kings to commoners will do anything to get their hands on. The sorcerer’s remaining wishes have the power to give back what is lost or take away even more.
Josie will do anything to protect her home and friends – but what if it means making the ultimate sacrifice?

- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5This book is the last of the After the Rift series. I have read all six. This is the best series I have ever read. The setting of these books is set in a magical place. All the characters and their personalities are so real you feel like you know them. The story is woven so well, with many twist and turns. Each book leaves you hanging with unanswered questions that you have to read the next.

- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Love the series! I started with book 1 and was instantly hooked. I listened to all 6 books in 2 weeks! I wish there were more. Highly recommended!

- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5I enjoyed the first few books but unfortunately as we FINALLY get to this last book, the constant back and forth of the heroine and hero relationship is exhausting.. Not to mention the amount of times that they each get continually arrested, tricked or kidnapped..
I have never skipped ahead on a book but I was surely tempted to just go to the end to finally be done with this one.1 person found this helpful

- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5Finally they can all live in peace. Great ending. Although I felt it dragged on a bit and Josie was looking a bit pathetic and foolish, however the ending was satisfying and heart warming, this series is every bit as good as the Glass and Steele series.

- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5Pretty predictable. If you've read other books by the same author be forwarned this series wasn't the best one. The same things happen over my and over.

- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Enjoyable series! C J Parker was new to me & I plan to read another series by this author.( I'm not sure how delivering basic first aid is practicing medicine, though.) I liked the female characters, Theo, and Erik best, as they made better protagonists and villains than most of the male characters.
