Every book in this series has been phenomenal. I have stuck with Charlie and Lincoln through each book knowing that at some point there would be a wedding night that would show me Lincoln, laid bare to his love of Charlie, and knowing that making love to her would leave him vulnerable and in awe of that love. Give him an epiphany that his ability to love is definitive. But.........I did not get that. I didn’t get anything. I got a nipple swipe and “the end”. I was crushed. Deflated. Disappointed. Annoyed. Heartbroken for myself and all readers everywhere. This man needed an epic wedding night and while I’m sure he had one we will never know the depth of that experience because it wasn’t written. And to top it off the next book wasn’t even the morning after or anything. It was a totally different slant. I am just.......left wanting more and alas there is no more.
